Good Ol' W. Yellowstone

After not being able to get to San Francisco, Nate and I got in his parents car and as we were driving his parents kept saying since I had the weekend off of BOTH jobs already... that we should go to Vegas, or St George... I thought that would be SO FUN... a spontaneous trip with  my boy and a road trip... I knew it would be good.

Nate wasn't having it... he kept saying NOOOOO!!! I was sooo sad.... Well eventually I kinda convinced him. We got to his parents and jumped right into our car... when we left we were still talking about how crazy this adventure would be... As we got to the freeway we were like omg... should we go? maybe we should go to Yellowstone... we both had never been there hahaha. sooo we skipped the freeway and went to an empty parking lot to look up hotels, and the drive to Yellowstone... we got our hotel booked while sitting there and then we were on our way for a 4 hour road trip together. :)

Since we packed summer clothes for San Francisco we decided to stop by the apartment to grab some warm clothes... VERY SMART IDEA... haha. Sooo we drove, we drove and drove some more... we made a couple of stops at gas stations and such, and laughed pretty much the whole way... I LOVE MY MAN. We eventually made it, and were starving... so we went to eat first before checking into our hotel... We had the best food.. we split a burger with egg on it and then we split a salad.. mmm...

Then we went to the hotel and it was the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It had lots of dead animals on the wall... haha... .I had read reviews online that the rooms smelt weird but I ignored them, but I shouldn't have hahahah they smilled like an old folks home... it was weird thinking we would be sleeping in there :). We went to bed that night... the next day we woke up and went to have breakfast... holy cow the people are so kind hahah... I should have taken a picture with this old guy that was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY.... he talked and talked and talked and talked... and he eventually sat at our table to talk some more hahahah.... He was interesting and I did LOVE his stories.

We then got ready and headed out.. the only problem was since it is Winter NOTHING was open hahahah.. but we did figure out that the ZOO was open and Nate loves the ZOO!!!!!! So we went there and the only things that were there were grizzly bears, and wolves.. we did find out they will soon be opening a squirrel exibit hahaha.
