On his birthday Nate was in Atlanta for trainings, I was trying so SO hard to get out there for his birthday... but of course stand by wasn't looking too hot and I was DEVESTATED.... the good news was that I ordered him some chocolate strawberries to arrive at his hotel. HE LOVED THEM!
That weekend we met in Denver for my nephew Hunters birthday... we missed eachother sooo much it was so nice to finally see one another... <3 we stayed busy for Hunters birthday he is 4 and I can't believe it!!!!
On Sunday we got to celebrate Nates birthday a little bit! My mom made him an apple crisp cake (his fave)... and she had everyone write a note on a piece of paper and then she made them into papaer airplanes and put them on top of the cake!!!! She is sooo creative, and the notes were EXTREMLY thoughtful.... I LOVE my family sooo much!!!
When we opened presents my nephews wanted to help so he let them (cute uncle alert)... my mom got him some really nice Hugo Boss dress pants for flying and a nice traveling case for his toiletries. :)
We got home on Monday late at night... so we decided to celebrate his birthday with just us on Wednesday... IT WAS SO FUN AND BUSY!!! We had lots to do getting ready to move into a new apartment, going to court for Nates speeding ticket hahaha, and going to Nordstrom to get his pilot uniforms altered. So later that day we went to the planetarium and watched the Dark Universe... Nate loves space, me not so much haha... soo I fell asleep... then we went home and went to dinner at our fave place Tepanyaki of course.
On Friday night we celebrated with Nates family. We went over to his parents home in South Jordan and enjoyed Nates favorite pizza Papa Johns bbq chicken pizza (with no onions of course)... and then some yummy sheet cake... it was also his grandmas birthday so we celebrated with her too. :) For the rest of the night we had a good time just talking and hanging out!
