SAN FRANCISCO!!!!! (DAY 1)

EEEEEEEEEEEK! I'm so so so SO excited to share with you my San Francisco trip!!!:) Here is a little back round for ya of why I went:). Nate told me a few months ago that he had a surprise for me and I couldn't have been more excited, I LOVE SURPRISES... but the verdict is that when I hear i'm getting a surprise I want to know what it is right away:). Anyways, what Nate told me is that he was taking me on a trip and that we were going together somewhere warm and sunny!!!! I was patiently waiting... Valentines came around and I was sure he was going to give me plane tickets or something... but instead i got a night at the Anniversary Inn (LOVED IT!)... and then I kept waiting and waiting... well one day at work I was looking through my supervisors planner and she had put "HAILEY SECRET OFF" from March 20th to the 23rd.. that's when I started getting real antsy.. well the secret got out and I was told that I was going on the trip with not Nate but with my sista to visit my mom!!!!! To be honest, I was real sad that I wasn't going with Nate but I was still very excited to go with my sista!!:) Later I found out Jayson would be there and my dad!!! WOOHOOO!:) SO HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!

DAY #1:
I woke up nice and early, I had to be at the airport at 730!!! While Nate was helping me get ready.. he's so cute.. I had him make my breakfast.. in the mornings I have one egg white and one whole egg with a piece of toast and a fruit. He was yelling at me telling me "baby I cant' do this!" I walk in on him and he had poked a tiny hole in the egg and was waing for the egg white to drop... oh that boy hahahaha... I LOVE HIM! Bless his heart!!!! Anyways sooo we got  out the door and left to the airport... Melissa had a layover in Salt Lake and so we met up and we had the same flight to San Francisco! It was sooo nice to see her!!! On our flight I swear we didn't have one minute of silence we were talking the WHOLE way and the poor other passengers were probably DYING... haha. RANDOM... so on our flight when we were waiting to get off the airplane I heard my name... and so I turned around and I couldn't believe that my photographer from our wedding was sitting on the plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAY SMALL WORLD.. so we got some good ol talking in!:)

After arriving Miss and I got outside to wait for my mom and brother and the sun was soooo warm and sooo nice I can't even describe to you how amazing it felt!!! My mom and brother showed up in the convertible we call her 'Edna' and we were on our way:). We got to my moms house in Oakland, and it was the cutest home I have EVER seen!! She really knows how to make a small space great i'm so lucky I have her as my mom!! In my moms SMALL backyard she had a big bush of lemons!!!!! and her next door neighbors totally have an ORANGE tree!!!!!! It smelled wonderful and it was sooo pretty!!!! :). After getting all settled we headed out into the city!! We went to my moms work and did some good shopping at the Nordstrom Rack... :). Did you know in San Francisco it is a law that they charge $0.10 for a bag??!?!?!?!?! Crazy right??!? I noticed it on my reciepts and I was shocked... sooo you're going to charge me not only for the items but for the bag as well??! I thought the bag was a goody from them.. guess not in SAN FRAN. OH YA!! I GOT MY FIRST PAIR OF SPERRY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PINK AND SPARKLY OF COURSE!! Love at first sight!!

We went to lunch at a little restaurant called 'MO'S' I enjoyed a mexican salad that had a jalopeno sourcream dressing.. it was yummm! And then I tried my first Macaroon.. it was delish!!:) After lunch and all of the fun shopping we went across the Golden Gate Bridge!!!!!!!! K most amazing bridge and it was soo fun!!! I LOVED taking pics with my family!!!:)

After Golden Gate we went on a drive to look over the ocean:) It was freezing but sooo fun!!! After that we went to look at these Red Wood Trees, but I was determined to keep my new sperrys clean and so we didn't do that... danget.. another time for sure!:)

After that we headed back to the city and went to a little restaurant on the pier. We enjoyed dinner on the top floor over looking the bay while eating clam chowder and a YUMMY pizza!:) I can't even describe to you how great this restaurant was!! They had sourdough shaped into little animals!! SO COOL!!!:)

After dinner we went and did some shopping on the streets just at the tourist shops. While walking around I went on my own to go and use a restroom... while walking back to meet up with everyone there were 3 ladies that passed me and they looked and acted completely normal.. ya know curly hair... pretty.... just talking and hanging out... I didn't even really notice them.. until one of them turned around after we had passed and she started coming after me with her hands reached out!! She told me how beautiful I was in some creepy voice (she seriously had the craziest eyes!!) and I said thanks and kept walking and then she asked me if she could take my Auroa/Orah/Ora? (idk.) and I was like ummm no thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! and walked as fast as I could!!! There are some crazies in this world.

After that crazy experience we headed back to my moms house for the night. On the way back I was CRAVING CRAVING CRAVING CRAVING CRAVING a BAZOOOKIE!!! If you don't know what it is, it's one big cookie and then you top it with ice cream.. yum!!! So when we got back Jays and I ran to the Walgreens and grabbed the supplies.. we got home enjoyed the bazookie and finished the night off with 'FROZEN' :) and with Miss falling asleep before it even really started.

It was such a FUN first day!!!!
