Back to my boys birthday!!! I am so so so grateful for my husband! I wont get too sappy on here... but I LOVE him! He puts up with sooo much from me, and i'm so happy I am with him to celebrate all of his birthdays... He is fun to be around, so cute, a goof ball, he is ALWAYS there when I need him, he is encouraging, so helpful, such a good example at his work, and he treats me sooo well!!!!!
We had so much fun for his birthday and I can't wait to share that with you guys! :) I just want to add that we are not at all perfect and we don't ever want to portray that we are... we get through our hard times that are sometimes soooooo much harder than I ever imagined and that's why we go and enjoy the activities that we do!!:) We grow, marriage isn't easy, and no ones is EVER perfect, but we're in love and fight for eachother when almost giving up.. we both KNOW we couldn't be with out each other...
On Nates birthday he worked and I didn't sooo I had lots to do!!:) I gave him a little scavenger hunt I guess you could say.. and I think he had fun!:) That morning I took Nate to Kneaders for our traditional french toast birthday breakfast in our pajamas :). I love that tradition that we do on his and on my birthday! I hope we keep it in place for our kids too!!:)
A little while later I knew Nate wouldn't be very hungry soo i didn't worry about lunch but I did go and order him a HUGE Mrs Fields cookie, and I had them put "Happy Birthday to my Pilot" cheesy yes??? But I love being cheesy it's like my middle name :). I also bought a huge pack of little toy planes and stuck one on there for fun :) and then I took him 2 of his 24 balloons.. :)
While he was working I rushed over to where we were going to stay that night and got everything set up!! It was at the Alaskan Inn... and it was gorgeous! You get to stay in your own little cabin and the pics can tell the rest!:)
After I got everything set up I rushed to grab Nate to go and get some dinner! :) We were supposed to go to Nate's Fav Taste of India buttttt things got a little messed up for later that night so we ran to Texas Road House for some yummy steak!:) Nate did NOT let me repeat did NOT want me to tell the waiter or anyone that it was his birthday... but what's the fun in that.... ???!!! So while Nate was changing his clothes in the car I let the server know not to do any kind of shout out or singing but if he could still do a little something that would be perfect! Nate was FREAKING out everytime he heard a shoutout for a birthday... and kept telling me he hoped I didn't let them in... At the end of our meal the server came over with a big bag of peanuts for Nate and a free appetizer for the next time :) ... I thought that was cute and nice!:)
After dinner I had a surprise for him to go to I-Fly in Ogden at 7!! So we went and it was crazy!!!!!!!!!! we HAD to buy the movie at the end of us flying because it was soooo FUNNY!!! ohhh the fun we will have sharing that with our future kids!! hahahaha....
After I-Fly we stopped at Sub Zero... but I was the only one who got icecream haha... and then we headed up the canyon to go to the Alaskan Inn. Nate was sooo cute and excited about it!! He has ALWAYS wanted to go to Alaska and I thought this was perfect to satisfy that little craving.. and it was he loved it so much more than I did :)....
When we got to our "cabin" we opened presents, went on a walk outside, and enjoyed the rest of our night together!:)
The next morning we woke up to breakfast which was sooo nice and got to hang out a little bit before packing up and leaving... then we got to hang out the whole day together!!!!!!! JUST ME AND HIM!!!!! WHHHHAT??? WE NEVER GET THAT....it was so nice!!:) We ran a few errands and later on in the day we went to Tepanyaki for dinner this time the whole table sang happy birthday!! Wooo hooo!!!! :)
It was such a FUN couple of days that I didn't want to end!! I love that boy so much and I hope he had the best two days because they were HIS DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
