Poor baby Bax had to go to the vet... On Monday I could tell his lil eye was bugging him because he couldn't open it all the way... I didn't really think much about it... and then on Wednesday night Nate got really worried before we left to dinner and googled it and they said you should take your dog in right away if he has a cloudy (filmy) eye that is blood shot... sooo we decided we would take him in the morning because there were noo vets open that late. So morning came and it looked a lil better and then as he kept waking up it got worse and worse... so then Nate told me we should really get him in (he loves this dog)... so I took him in after a drs appt i had and they said he had pink eye... poor boy was soo scared... and did you know that when they take the dogs temp they have to stick it up his bummmm???? AHH! soo anyways they looked and looked and definitely said he had pink eye... and then they dialated and numbed his eye and took a better look at it and what happened was that all of his little hairs around his eyes got inside of his eye!!!! They were stuck in there!!! How sad is that???! So they removed all the lil hairs from his eyes... and gave us some eye drops to put in his eyes twice a day... Dear Vet:
Why do you have to try and sell me every single thing??!?!?! I understand this all would be good for my dog and really you've got me on edge of buying everything to protect and help him because he's our baby... but then it starts to get oooolllld and then i come to the conclusion that you're really just trying to up your business and make me more broke.
In conclusion I need a new vet that really wants to check my dog out for the specific thing and not try to sell me everything in the shop :) any suggestions? :)
